RAVENINGHAM HALL

As Raveningham Hall prepared to host their Taste of Autumn event in October, I was treated to a tour of the gardens with Lord and Lady Bacon. Famed for many things from its Agapanthus collection to its herb garden, to the panoramic views from its manmade 'hill', the garden has something to please everyone. Here are some of my favourite shots...
























HOLKHAM HALL

Norfolk is blessed with a number of stately homes with glorious gardens. But not all are open to the public all the time. Holkham Hall has its walled garden and plenty to take in throughout the year, but the private garden is strictly off limits. That is, for all but one day, when it's opened to the public. At the rear of the house, there's formal planting to be enjoyed as well as plenty of architecture and rolling views of the countryside. But, for me, the real delight was the arboretum. Here are some of my favourite shots from my sneak peek ahead of the opening in October...
